Join Sahara Dance for an enchanting evening at our renowned “Under a Desert Moon” showcase! Featuring over 100 dancers, including Sahara Dance students, faculty and drummers, prepare to be immersed in a diverse array of captivating performances that celebrate cultural artistry. Experience soulful solos (soloists to be announced soon!) complemented by a compelling and fun drum solo choreographed by world-touring guest artist Shahrzad and performed by selected participants in our annual Al Fanaanat Project. Explore a variety of performances by our student companies of varying levels, each designed to embrace traditional and fusion dance styles, from upbeat Saidi performed by Raqqesat Arabi to a soulful Baladi, to the vibrant energy of Raqs Caravan East. Let us take you on a journey through the rhythms and expressions of Sahara Dance’s “Under a Desert Moon” Two Shows 4pm and 7pm.
